Staff Accountant (Corporate Services Industry)
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Glen Burnie, MD
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 Base Salary
Chesapeake Search Partners has been asked by a growing organization in the BWI corridor market to locate a strong Staff Accountant who is looking to grow their career. This opportunity will lead to additional responsibilities and exposure within the Accounting & Finance department. The position will report to the Corporate Controller.
Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.
Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close.
Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.
Prepare accurate timely financial reports including budgets, accounts receivable, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
