Job Description
Skyline Technology Solutions is looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter who embodies our culture and will help develop a start-up staffing agency located in Glen Burnie, MD. This position will be responsible for temporary, long term, and permanent placements of Information Technology and Telecommunication professionals.

Core Responsibilities
Manage the full life-cycle of recruiting for variety of technical positions in the IT and Telecommunications fields
Source key technical talent through a variety of online and social media tools and industry events
Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and partner with hiring managers and administrative staff through the interviewing process
Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees
Post openings through various media outlets, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
Build relationships with possible future candidates to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Attend networking events and career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
Develop business leads and relationships
Perform other special projects as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements
Associates Degree; Bachelor Degree preferred in Human Resources or other business related area
Recruiting Certifications a plus (i.e. AIRS)
1-2 years' experience recruiting and sourcing in staffing agency environment
At least 1 year of experience recruiting Information Technology professionals
Direct technical recruiting experience for a start-up environment is desirable
Passion for creating one of kind, high caliber candidate experiences
Positive attitude and excitement to contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
