Bi-Lingual Evangelization Administrative Assistant (pt)

The parish of Christ the King, Glen Burnie, seeks dynamic candidates for the position of Bi-Lingual Evangelization Administrative Assistant.
In this part-time position, you will assist with the administrative needs of Evangelization Team (Family Faith Formation, Youth Ministry, and Sacramental Preparation).
You must be fluent in English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities:
Acting as the main liaison between parishioners and the Evangelization Team Responding to and following-up with Team program inquiries Maintaining mandated records Creating/reviewing/translating documents Accepting/recording program payments Providing in-person assistance during the week of Summer Academy (1st full week in August) Be available for flexible work schedule to include some evenings and/or weekends.
Qualifications:
To be considered in this role, you should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bilingual and biliterate (Spanish & English) Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional office environment Able to work independently Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) Experience with database management Ability to learn and implement new software quickly A practicing Catholic and missionary disciple of Jesus Christ, preferred but not required Preference will be given to candidates with the following
Qualifications:
Experience with social media, graphic design, email marketing platforms (such as Flocknote and Constant Contact), etc.
Recommended Skills Administration Communication Curiosity Databases Graphic Design Microsoft Excel Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
