Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff - Prepare and proofread legal documents, including contracts and correspondence - Manage document management systems and maintain organized files - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records - Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars - Transcribe dictations and prepare meeting minutes - Conduct legal research as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role preferred - Proficiency in using document management systems and other legal software - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures - Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in working in the legal field.
