The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist manages accounts payable using our accounting software.
He/she is responsible for ensuring all invoices and bills are paid in a timely manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
In addition, he/she will assist with annual audits, provide backup for payroll processing, and provide assistance to our Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
Qualifications A BS degree in accounting from a four-year college or university is required At least two years of experience working in accounts payable, accounting, or finance Experience with accounts receivable and payroll preferred Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately Must demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict effectively Responsibilities Verifies, processes, and reconciles payments for all AP invoices and check requests Processes Bello Machre mortgage, petty cash, and personal needs allowances for allocations each month Completes and maintains Fixed Assets, Lease Improvement, and invoice CDA for escrow account spending Provides backup for payroll processing and assistance to CFO Assists with annual audit process Company Description Bello Machre - We provide a lifetime commitment of loving care, opportunity, and guidance to people with developmental disabilities in Maryland.
