Summary:
The IT Support Specialist will focus on maintaining all computer equipment and software so that Costello's staff members can provide uninterrupted service to their customers.
They will need to install, configure, service and maintain all systems with minimal supervision.
This position reports to IT Manager.
Major Responsibilities Provides remote, telephone, and in-person support to end-users Installs and repairs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives Creates and maintains asset tracking of all equipment under IT umbrella Maintains network sharing and remote software for all PCs on the Costello's network Identifies and procures with the approval of the Director of I.

the hardware and software needs of the company Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction Liaison with Epicor, Evosus, Microsoft, Dell, Google, and all other technology partners Installs and maintains anti-virus solutions on all networked PC's Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and Reduce cost of Third-Party software providers when applicable Provide training and support for all technology supported systems Develop, both technical and end-user documentation Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication Procure equipment from alternate sources as needed Assist in company inventories Willing to work a flexible scheduled that includes night and weekends Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Knowledge of Eagle/Epicor systems, Evosus preferred Ability to work independently, as well as in a team Incredible interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Must have reliable transportation Willingness to travel to stores in all states Physical Requirements Frequency Requirement Walking Frequent Flat surfaces from point to point Standing Constant As needed Sitting Constant As needed Stooping Frequent to pick up cartons at floor level Reaching Frequent To a height of 6 feet Lifting Occasional Must be able merchandise up to 40 pounds Hand Dexterity Constant Must be able to use a computer and printing equipment Pushing / Pulling Occasional As needed Carrying Occasional As needed Climbing Occasional Stairs Vision Constant Read labels, recognize boxes, safety in working Hearing Constant Safety signals Reports to:
